Find official URLs for businesses.
Overview

In this task you will help us find the official websites for businesses.

To begin, you will be provided with the name, street address, city and state for a specific business location.

You will look through the first three pages of search results to locate the official website of the business. If you find a match, copy and paste the URL into the provided field.

Official websites must be owned by the business. Directory websites such as Yelp, Yellow Pages, or Facebook will not be accepted.
Process

Use the provided links to search for the company's site on Google.

Once you find a site you think is the official website for the company, verify the address information we provide on the website.
In order to be a match:
The name on the site must match or be very similar to the name on the website.
The city and state must match exactly.
For businesses with multiple locations (coffee shops, convenient stores, department stores, grocery stores, etc.) use the street address to verify a match

When you are confident you found the official site, please paste the URL in the textbox provided.

Important Tips

Make sure you copy and paste the homepage of the website.

If you cannot confirm the found website corresponds to the provided location, select "No, I could not find an official website".

Please click any search results that are related to the business in case you can find the URL there. For example, the Google results may include the Yelp page for the business which often contains a link to the official website.

All names will not match exactly with what is provided, use the street and/or city to confirm a match with similar names.
Do not submit any "directory" websites, i.e: websites that provide information about many businesses, such as "Manta", "Yelp", etc.
